Winners Of Patriotic Decorating Contest Announced In Berlin, See Who Won
Berlin has announced the winners of its patriotic decorating contest, part of the town's celebration of America's 250th anniversary.
BERLIN, CT — The Town of Berlin has announced the winners of its "Berlin in Red, White & Blue" Patriotic Decorating Contest, part of the community's observance of the nation's 250th anniversary.
The contest invited residents and businesses to create patriotic displays visible from public streets and roadways. Winning entries received recognition in several categories.
The town announced the following winners:

- We the People Award: 17 Lori Ann Lane
- Spirit of 1776 Award: 81 Ledge Road, East Berlin
- Main Street Spark Award: 222 Mill St., Hunters
The We the People Award was determined through public voting by Berlin residents and visitors.
The decorating contest was offered at no cost to participants, with awards carrying $100 Visa gift cards.

Participants were asked to keep their displays in place through Saturday, Sept. 26.
