Woman In Serious Condition Following Vicious Dog Attack

PLYMOUTH, CT — A woman is in serious condition after she was mauled by her four mastiffs on Monday, WTNH reported. The attack occurred in a yard on Eastview Road.

A witness reportedly saw the attack and called 911. The dogs were still on top of the woman when police arrived.

Once the dogs and the woman were separated, officers shot and killed three of the dogs as they were concerned about the safety of students being released from a nearby school. A fourth dog is being quarantined by animal control, according to WTNH.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
