The 3rd Annual Take a Walk in Their Shoes Walkathon sponsors the Morning Glory Breakfast Program, feeding the hungry & homeless. It is estimated that people experiencing homelessness walk an average of 3 miles a day. We invite you to come join us on October 3, 2015 as we walk to eradicate hunger amongst this population in our community. Walk all of part of the 3 miles and encourage your friends & family to support your efforts. The walk will take place at Meckauer Park located at 16 Shelter Rock Road in Bethel, CT - rain or shine. Registration starts at 9:30 AM with the walk commencing at 10AM and going until 12 noon. The Green Grunion food truck will be on site to serve breakfast and lunch. There will be entertainment for all.
