My apologies: Reading takes time!

Hello fellow readers,

I have to apologize for my extended absence. With applying for jobs, working extra hours, and my laptop charger breaking, I haven't been able to post regularly like I had hoped. However, I would like to inform you that I have been reading (when I can) Gayle Forman's If I Stay; which NPR's The Roundtable describes as "an achingly beautiful story." I could not agree more. I am about 174 pages in and the story is riveting. Forman's technique of jumping from real time to memories is captivating. Although I have a good amount left to read I can say with complete faith this novel is worth the read. It is also a soon to be motion picture, and I cannot wait to compare and contrast the movie and the novel. Hope to finish and write more soon!
