Accident on Grassy Plain Leads to Failure to Appear Arrest

A 33-year-old Bethel man was arrested on Dec. 1 following a motor vehicle accident on Grassy Plain Street near Willow Street.

Christopher Thompson was involved in the accident on Tuesday at approximately 5:45 p.m., according to a police report.

When the officer checked his license it was found that Thompson had a “PRAWN” Paperless Rearrest Warrant, for failure to appear. He was taken into custody, processed and released on a $500 bond.

He is due in court on Dec. 11, 2015.
