Accused Witches Have Their Say at the Dramatic Performance at the Bethel Public Library

Bethel Public Library will present 'Accused Witches Have Their Say,' a dramatic performance with a costumed, incensed and frightening cast.

From the Bethel Public Library:

Join us at the Bethel Public Library on Thursday October 29, 7 pm, and travel back to 17th- century Connecticut with a dramatic performance entitled “Panic in Connecticut: Accused Witches Have Their Say.” Actress Virginia Wolf brings to life five women accused of witchcraft -- fully costumed, fully incensed, and fully frightened. Their stories are true, and the performance is mesmerizing. Ms. Wolf also will enlighten us about Puritan society and the underlying reasons for witchcraft panics in New England.
