Allie-Brennan Scores Promotion In Hartford

State Representative Raghib Allie-Brennan has been promoted to assistant majority whip in the Connecticut House of Representatives.

BETHEL, CT — State Representative Raghib Allie-Brennan has been promoted to assistant majority whip in the Connecticut House of Representatives for the 2021-22 legislative session.

Whips are responsible for counting votes and rounding up party members for votes and quorum calls.

"I want to thank Speaker-elect Matt Ritter and Majority Leader-elect Jason Rojas for this important opportunity and I am proud to serve the 2nd District and our state in this leadership capacity," Allie-Brennan said. "I look forward to continuing to serve as a voice for ALL the residents of Connecticut's 2nd Legislative District as we tackle some of the most pressing issues facing our state."
