Organizers said the celebration will begin with a one-kilometer sidewalk parade starting near the Bethel train station and ending at the Municipal Center lawn.

This year’s event is expected to feature more than 70 LGBTQIA+ vendors, local artisans, nonprofits and businesses, along with food, live music and children’s activities, according to organizers.

State Rep. Raghib Allie-Brennan is expected to deliver opening remarks. Musical performances are also planned from Pigeon Vulture and Margot Miller.

Additional activities will include free health screenings from Apex Community Care, craft stations and games for children.

Organizers said the event will be held rain or shine, with indoor space available if needed.

Bethel CT Pride said the annual celebration welcomes members of the LGBTQIA+ community and allies from across Connecticut, New York and beyond.
