Road Closures, Tree Work Affecting 2 Bethel Roads

BETHEL, CT — Drivers should expect closures and delays on two Bethel roads Tuesday as crews conduct tree and other road work, according to the town.

Rockwell Road near Route 302 will be temporarily closed for tree work, town officials said. Drivers are being asked to use an alternate route and plan accordingly.

Crews will also be working at multiple locations along Plumtrees Road throughout the day. The road may periodically close to through traffic while the work is underway.

Officials asked drivers to use caution in work areas and follow directions from crews.

The town did not specify when the Rockwell Road closure is expected to end.
