BETHEL, CT — A Danbury-based cake business is preparing for a sweet new chapter, announcing plans to open a location in Bethel.

Strine Cakes shared the news on social media, revealing that the business will soon have a space of its own after more than two years of preparation.

The bakery, which offers decorated cakes, wedding cakes and Brazilian-style desserts, currently lists a Danbury address on its online ordering page.

The announcement marks a major milestone for the business, which credited its customers and supporters with helping make the expansion possible.

"Every cake you bought, every referral, every kind word built this moment with us," the post read.

An exact address and opening date for the Bethel location have not yet been announced.
