Award-winning Jazz Guitarist Returns "HOME" for Benefit
Maxi Priest and Jazz Guitarist JJ Sansaverino Returns to HOME Restaurant for Local Community Dining Room Benefit
Blue Plate Radio and Blue Plate Radio Productions is bringing award-winning Maxi Priest and jazz guitarist JJ Sansaverino and his band featuring Brazillian jazz legend Ze’ Luis Oliveira back to Branford restaurant, HOME, 1114 Main St., Branford, CT, on Friday, December 12 for an exclusive, one-night only show as part of his “Waiting for You” holiday tour. Doors open at 7:00pm and the show starts at 8:00pm. All attendees are asked to bring a bag of non-perishable food items with them that will be donated to Branford’s Community Dining Room (CDR) immediately after the show.
Guitarist JJ Sansaverino is an absolutely incredible performer. He has a “take no prisoners” performance style and his music is a mix of R&B, smooth jazz & fusion ala Santana meets Benson. He’s reached millions with his music, touring the world for the last 20 years. He’s worked with the best in the business, both live and in the studio, as a composer, an arranger and a show stopping sideman, and has appeared on hundreds of recordings. Now, with the release of his sophomore album “Waiting For You” on Innervision Records, JJ puts forward a stunning selection of his original compositions, with the help of a stellar array of musicians, producers and special guests. His latest singles “Back Talk” and “Gravy Train” have topped the radio charts, climbing up Billboard and Groove Jazz Music. JJ continues to perform with reggae legend Maxi Priest, while simultaneously touring with his own band. This is JJ Sansaverino ’s ONLY Connecticut appearance with his band this year!
