Bethel Approves New Cooling System for Middle School
Bids will be solicited, and the new system installed, in time for the onset of warm weather.

BETHEL, CT — Voters have approved the town spending up to $450,000 for a new cooling system for the middle school, the News Times is reporting.
The money will be appropriated from the fund balance.
There are two cooling solutions on the table. An air cool system has been budgeted at $390,000, and a comparable water cool system would cost $420,000, but require a water treatment system that would cost $30,000 or less.
