Bethel Artist Elisabeth Levy's Work to be Exhibited at Bethel Library
The public is invited to a holiday season-inspired photography exhibit in the Bethel Library Maria Parloa Community Room now through Dec. 31
From the Bethel Public Library:
The public is invited to enjoy a holiday season-inspired photography exhibit in the Bethel Library Maria Parloa Community Room now through December 31, and to attend the artist’s opening reception and sale December 15, 4-6 pm.
“Amaryllis” is Elisabeth Levy’s interpretation of the festive flower that brightens everyone’s Holiday season, regardless of what you celebrate. Thirty diverse images of a single plant explore the beauty and magic of this favorite bulb in all its glory. Come see “Amaryllis” and you may find yourself looking at all flowers a bit differently!
Elisabeth is a Photographer based in Bethel, CT. In “Amaryllis,” Elisabeth goes back and forth between direct portraits of the petals, stamens, and stems, and capturing the shadow reflections the light creates, sometimes combining the two in the same image.
Her line of Photographic Greeting Cards can be found at several fine retail locations. She accepts Portrait Commissions and Special Orders and may be reached at (914) 261-3509 or elisabeth@ejLphoto.com.
