Bethel Arts Presents 'The Divine Miss M Cabaret' June 12 and 13

Bethel Arts presents 'You've Gotta Have Friends, The Divine Miss M and Me,' a cabaret fundraiser featuring the songs of Bette Midler.

Bethel Arts is proud to present a cabaret fundraiser featuring the songs of Bette Midler. The show stars Bethel Arts volunteer and Sherman Players actor Christine Amorin. Jeremy Taylor Hutchins, Musical Theatre Director at Southern Connecticut State University, will accompany Ms. Amorin.

“When I joined Bethel Arts, I was looking for a way to help my town in the only way I knew how, bring performance art somehow to light. We want to get our high schoolers involved especially, and my next project will be a cabaret that features Bethel high school performers,” Amorin said in a release.

Amorin has played the fairy Godmother in Cinderella and Scherazade in Aladdin at the Sherman Playhouse, among other roles.
