The Buddy Walk was established in 1995 by the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS) to celebrate Down Syndrome Awareness Month in October. The walk and promotes acceptance and inclusion of people with Down Syndrome.
The walk starts at The Sycamore restaurant, 282 Greenwood Ave. Registration is at 12:30 p.m. and the walk begins at 1 p.m. The first 100 people registered will receive a goodie bag. After the walk, refreshments, raffle and sales from local merchants will be availble.

Registration fee is $5 per walker and $15 per family. All of the money raised will be contributed to the NDSS.
