Bethel Chamber Chairman Issues Statement on Executive Director's Resignation
Brennan Purdy, Chairman of the Board for the Bethel Chamber issued the statement on Tuesday.

BETHEL, CT-- The following letter was posted Tuesday on the Chamber website:
"A Message from the Chairman of the Board
Bobbi Jo Beers has announced her resignation as the President and Executive Director of the Bethel Chamber of Commerce.
Bobbi Jo has agreed to stay on full time until Summer Fest and will be available part time, on an as needed basis, until we find a replacement.
Those of us who have been lucky enough to work with Bobbi Jo know how much time and effort she put into her role with the Chamber. I have seen many positive changes in the community and at chamber events thanks to her careful and thoughtful planning.
Bobbi Jo will instead focus her attention on growing her own business and spending more time with her family. She looks forward to being an active participant in the many wonderful chamber events she herself helped to build.
I know we all wish her well with her new business! Until the time comes for Bobbi Jo to step down, I hope you stop in, call in, and email to let her know how much you appreciate all of the great events and programs she helped bring to this community.
We look forward to seeing you out and about in Bethel!
Brennan Purdy
Chairman of the Board of Directors"
