BETHEL, CT — There are 259 of the new coronavirus in Bethel as of Tuesday, with 30 confirmed deaths to date, health officials announced Tuesday.
There are 1,212 cases per every 100,000 people and there have been 10,067 tests per every 100,000, according to the Connecticut Department of Health COVID-19 Case Data Dashboard. COVID-19 is the disease caused by the coronavirus.
In Fairfield County there are 16,200 confirmed coronavirus cases as of Tuesday, with 1,071 confirmed COVID-19-related deaths. Fairfield County has the highest number of cases and the highest number of deaths in the state.
