Bethel Eatery Hosting its Grand Re-Opening Tuesday: Report
The eatery had been closed for almost one year due to a flood.
BETHEL, CT — A Bethel eatery is holding its grand re-opening after being closed for nearly a year due to floods, reports the Daily Voice.
Portofino's Restaurant and Wine Bar will welcome back customers for its grand re-opening Tuesday. After the flood in January of 2016, Owners Louie and Rocco Selmanti thought they would be closed for just two weeks. However, the closure lasted until January of 2017 following an extensive renovation.
The building's Landlord told the News Times that investors had inquired about the location while the owners were forced to close, but that the owners were adamant about re-opening the business.
