The key campaign issues in Bethel have been infrastructure , taxes and smaller government.

Update 10 p.m.:

First Selectman Matthew Knickerbocker has won re-election for his fourth term.

Unofficial results:

  • Matt Knickerbocker - 2,327
  • Will Duff - 2,002
  • Rich Straiton - 2,183
  • Paul Szatkowski - 2,066

Voting ends at 8 p.m. in Bethel and the First Selectman’s race features Democrat Matthew Knickerbocker seeking re-election and he’s being opposed by GOP Challenger Will Duff, a Republican and former Selectman of Bethel.
