Bethel Field Hockey Plays 'Coaches vs. Cancer Pink Games' Tuesday

The "Coaches vs. Cancer Pink Games" will be played to help raise money for the American Cancer Society.

On October 7, 2014 the Bethel High School girl’s field hockey teams are hosting their annual ”give back” by “Playing for the Cure.”

The “Coaches vs. Cancer Pink Games” will be played against Newtown at the Bethel High School field. The Junior Varsity and Freshman teams will play together at 5:30 p.m.

The Varsity team will play at 7 p.m. Tickets are $5 at the gate and there will also be a bake sale with treats for $1 each. All proceeds go to the American Cancer Society.

“Please come out and support the cause and enjoy some awesome playing. The varsity team is more than likely going to States after virtually unseating the undefeated New Milford Wave last Friday evening. It’s action packed and for a good cause,” Julie Piera said.
