Bethel Firefighters Rescue Injured Man Trapped in Tree
He was a landscaper in the process of cutting the tree down.

BETHEL, CT - Firefighters rescued a man trapped up in a tree on Paul Street on Thursday. He was injured, and yelling for help.
A man nearly 1,000 feet away on Grassy Plain Street heard the cries, and called 911. The injured man, who has not been identified, is a landscaper who was in the process of cutting down the tree when he became trapped.
The firefighters were on the scene promptly and made use of Bethel Volunteer Fire Department’s Tower 1 to bring the man to safety. He was taken to Danbury Hospital.
