Bethel Forward Holds Charette For Downtown Revitalization Plans
Public input is sought from residents for plans on the revitalization of downtown Bethel.
Bethel Forward is hosting a charrette for planners, designers, architects and the public work together to develop illustrations and architectural designs that will be used to define the vision and plan for downtown Bethel.
The meetings are open to the public and residents are encouraged to participate.
- Drop-ins: 10 AM to 6 PM Wednesday and Thursday
- Public Meeting: Thursday, November 19 at 7 PM
The meetings are being held in the General Purpose Room of the Clifford J. Hurgin Municipal Center, 1 School Street, Bethel.
A $100,000 state grant and funds from the Affordable Housing Trust Fund have been secured to conduct the work to revitalize the downtown area near the train station.
