Bethel Health Care Center Fined For Dementia Patient's Fall
Bethel Health Care Center was also fined by the Department of Public Health in relation to a resident hospitalized for dehydration.
Bethel Health Care was one of five nursing homes recently fined by the state Department of Public Health.
According to a report, the facility was fined $1,160 on Sept. 22 after a resident with dementia fell out of a wheelchair on May 25 and broke their leg, the DPH citation states.
They were also fined was for a Feb. 9 incident after a resident was hospitalized for dehydration and an acute kidney injury.
