Bethel Lady Wildcat’s early surge too much for Stratford

 Behind a 9 point performance from Stephanie Hirst and a 31 shot performance, Bethel followed up a 10-5 halftime lead to win their first game of the season 17-13 over Stratford. 

Coach Shelly DeSisto was pleased with the effort and execution  and was able to identify areas for improvement before next Monday’s game against a brand new foe in Fairfield Ludlow.  The Bethel High J.V also triumphed over Stratford by a score of 12-6 which offers a glimpse of things to come in Wildcat land.

The Bethel Golf Team played  Notre Dame  to a 22 stroke  victory.  Mike  Kaluta of Bethel was the  medalist with a 42. The Bethel vs Notre Dame golf match was played on Notre dame's home course.
