Bethel High School Principal Christopher Troetti told parents Thursday that Bethel High School Athletic Director Frank Tatto has resigned.
Minuteman News reported that Tatto worked for Fairfield Public Schools in 2005, where he abruptly resigned. According to the paper, no reason was given for Tatto’s departure in that instance.
To follow is a letter sent to parents from Bethel High School Principal Christopher Troetti:
Good afternoon,
I’m writing to inform you that Mr. Tatto resigned from the position of Athletic Director at BHS in late August. Our former A.D., Mark Goodwin, has stepped in as our interim until a new director is hired. We are in the middle of an extensive search to find a permanent replacement. Our goal is to complete this process before the end of September.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact my office at 203-794-8600 x 0.
Thank you,
Christopher M. Troetti
Bethel Public Schools lists Tatto as working at BHS beginning in 2012. He previously worked at Fairfield’s Ludlowe High School and New Canaan High School. Patch will update this article as more information becomes available.
