Football Defeats Oxford; Boys Soccer Dominates in 9-0 Win

Bethel High School Sports: Week of October 3.

Updates:  

Thursday: Wildcat football won at Oxford, 54-41, making their record 3-1. Boys soccer dominated Kolbe Cathedral 9-0, while girls soccer tied Lauralton Hall, 2-2.

Wednesday: Bethel's field hockey won 3-2 at New Fairfield. The teams season is now 5-4. Volleyball also won against New Fairfield, 3-2.

Tuesday: Girls soccer took its second win of the week at Bunnell, 2-0, and is now 5-2-1 this season.

Monday: Girls soccer (4-2-1) won its makeup game, 5-1, against New Fairfield. Volleyball won at home against Weston 3-2, is now 4-4.

  • Boys Cross Country at the Wickham Invitational, 10 a.m.

Football — 2-1, 3rd in SWC

Field Hockey — 1-6-1, 19th in Class M

Boys Soccer — 4-2-1, 16th in Class M

Girls Soccer — 3-2-1, 14th in Class L

Volleyball — 3-4, 25th in Class M
