BETHEL, CT — There seems to be rankings for everything these days — best schools, best towns, best restaurants and now best (and worst) teachers.

A website called RateMyTeachers.com allows students to let their peers know what they think of their teachers.

According to the website, students from Connecticut submitted more than 257,588 teacher and professor ratings. The average teacher rating in Connecticut is 3.89, which is below the national average of 3.95. Students rated Bethel High School teachers on their easiness, helpfulness, clarity, knowledge, textbook use and exam difficulty using a star point system.

Here is how students ranked their most favorite Bethel High School teachers:

Gary Lawlor, an English teacher at Bethel High School, has a 5.0 star rating. His 2 teacher ratings contributes to Bethel High School's ranking of 304 in Connecticut.

Robert Owen is a social studies teacher with an average of 5.0 based on 7 teacher ratings. One student said, "Great teacher, great guy. Excellent knowledge of US history, you're missing out at Bethel High if you don't take one of his classes."

Amy Hoadley, a science teacher, has a 5.0 rating from 1 teacher review which said, "I had her, her first year teaching, I loved her!"
