Bethel Library Hosts Financial Planning Programs

Separate programs are being offered for millennials, adults and seniors.

BETHEL, CT — The Bethel Public Library is will be presenting three free programs on financial planning for three stages of life.

First, on Wednesday September 12, 6:30-7:45 p.m., all millennials, recent college grads, and young professionals will learn about paying off college debt, saving for retirement, owning versus renting, credit cards, and whether to use a financial advisor.

On Wednesday October 10, 6:30-7:30 p.m., any adult who is ready to start looking into Medicare will learn about the updates and changes that may affect Connecticut residents, how to potentially reduce medical expenses, and how to address the major gaps in the system.

The series concludes on Thursday November 15, 6:30-7:45 pm, for parents, grandparents, and guardians who want to plan for a child's financial future, including paying for college, gifting money, and setting up educational savings plans.

All three programs will be presented by Andrea Reda and Sandor Boulter of Flagship Financial Partners and are strictly informational; no company-specific products will be discussed, and there will be no sales or solicitations allowed.
