Bethel Library Hosts 'The Real World of Downton Abbey'
Enjoy a traditional English tea time while gaining new insights into 'The Real World of Downton Abbey' at the Bethel Public Library.

Gain new insights into “The Real World of Downton Abbey” and enjoy a traditional English tea time, too! Join us at the Bethel Public Library on Saturday, January 9 at 2 pm for an insightful lecture by Dr. Mark Schenker of Yale College. Dr. Schenker will tell us about the social, political, and literary events of the late 19th and early 20th centuries in England, that helped shape the world of the popular PBS series, Downton Abbey. We’ll also be treated to a traditional English tea, including delicious scones courtesy of the Daily Fare Bakery and Café.
