Bethel Man Caught Masturbating In Public: Newtown PD

NEWTOWN, CT — Officers nabbed a man who was seen masturbating in his parked car at the Sand Hill Shopping Plaza, according to police.

Police got a report last week about an exposed man masturbating in public and conducted surveillance using a female officer as a decoy, said Lt. Aaron Bahamonde, police spokesman. Monday afternoon they found Adrian Sime, 27, of Bethel masturbating in public while exposed in his car, police said.

He was charged with indecent exposure and possession of marijuana and police expect to file more charges for the previous reported incident.

"It’s pretty sick and disgusting that this individual felt he could victimize innocent women who were minding their business shopping and have to be confronted by this behavior," Bahamonde said.
