A Bethel man was the champion at the annual packzi-eating contest at Eddy’s Bake Shop in Ansonia.
According to the Valley Independent, Manny “The Manimal” Cambra, a bodybuilder consumed a dozen of the Polish donuts that contain a fruit filling in five minutes on Tuesday.
It is a Polish-American tradition to make packzis on Fat Tuesday.
