Bethel Man Helps Keep Locals' Indoor & Outdoor Spaces Junk-Free

A Bethel man is helping locals live a clutter-free life by providing fast and affordable junk removal services.

BETHEL, CT—When Antnony Lomangino moved to Bethel, he didn't know he was about to embark upon a new adventure shortly after. Lomangino said he moved to Bethel because we "loved the house and neighborhood ." Originally from Long Island and working for a local trash hauler shortly after relocating, he found work getting busier and busier during the Covid-19 but soon decided that he wanted to start out new, all on his own.

With more people working from home since the pandemic, the demand for trash hauling services has skyrocketed and some trash haulers and junk removal companies can't keep up due to also dealing with labor shortages. According to the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research, there has been a significant increase in trash consumers produce. The Solid Waste Association reports that residential trash is up by 25 percent during the pandemic. In addition, more trash means that dumpsters are filling up quickly.

That's where Lomangino comes in—"during 2020 I started in the junk removal business because I wanted to do something new,"he said. "I love helping others get rid of items that been an eye sore so they can have their space back."

Why should you get rid of unwanted junk? Some people may be allergy-prone. The junk may have sharp edges or be filled with chemicals. Items like batteries, mobile phones, paint containers can be hazardous. "Handling of these items is not a DIY task and can lead to diseases or injuries. By keeping house junk-free, you keep all these threats away too," Lomangino stated.

He said that getting rid of unwanted clutter is not only unattractive but also poses a great risk to your health through air pollution and contamination. It can also attract unwanted critters and pests. Lomangino said, "it is always a good idea to hire a professional junk removal service because we can help you get back your space through proper disposal of unwanted clutter."
