Bethel Motorcyclist Charged With Multiple Offenses After Attempting to Evade Police
The Bethel man was at Mobil gas station when a trooper checked the man's license plate number and saw the registration was canceled.

A Bethel man was arrested on Sept. 9 after police said he drove over 85 miles per hour and drove the wrong way on Route 7 while trying to flee from state troopers on his motorcycle, according to the News Times.
Jesse Belansky, 33, of Bethel, was at Mobil at exit 8 when a trooper checked Belansky’s license plate number and saw that the registration was canceled.
The officer attempted to stop Belansky, but he drove away toward I-84, onto Route 7.

Police later found Belansky at his home after they went through surveillance video from the gas station.

His bond was set at $1,000.
