Bethel Parents Express Concern at Informational Session on Investigation of Former School Staff Member

Parents who attended the informational session where officials discussed the state police investigation of a former Berry School staff member accused of inappropriate activity with children expressed concern and frustration, the News Times reports.

The Berry School staff member was placed on leave and then resigned after school officials learned of a pending investigation for inappropriate activities with minor children last week.

At the informational session on Thursday, parents expressed frustration over the lack of details given in the case, the News Times reports. Other parents expressed concern over their children having contact with the staff member.

Since the staff member has not been charged with the crime, authorities have not released any information about their identity.

According to the News Times, there is no evidence that any inappropriate conduct occurred on the school campus.
