Bethel Patch Welcomes Letters to the Editor During Campaign Season

The deadline for Bethel Patch election letters is Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2015.

By Tim Jensen

With municipal elections looming just over two weeks from now, it is time for candidate supporters to write letters espousing the qualifications of their favored nominee.

Bethel Patch will accept letters to the editor on behalf of political candidates through Wednesday, Oct. 28.

Letters must be signed by the person writing them - no fake names allowed - and contain the writer’s address, phone and email address for verification (we will only publish the name and hometown).

Letters should be of a positive tone and state why a person is qualified for the office they seek, not why their opponent should not be elected.

Email submissions to wendy.mitchell@patch.com.

Limit is one letter per person between now and Oct. 28.

Bethel Patch reserves the right to edit letters for brevity, or to reject letters which fail to adhere to these published guidelines.
