Bethel Photoworks Re-Opens in New Location

The custom framing shop is located at 226 Greenwood Avenue in downtown Bethel.

Since 1999, Bethel photographer and framer Ray Flanigan has been capturing life and art through his photography. On Thursday, Flanigan was happy to announce that his new location at 226 Greenwood Ave. is officially open for business.

“This new space allows for more foot traffic and it’s much more visible,” Flanigan told Patch, “so I’m really excited about it.”

His previous shop was located at 14 Depot Place, near the Putnam House, and was not as visible.

“It was a very busy intersection and people couldn’t see it from the street,” he said.

For the last year Flanigan had been operating from his home studio until he found the new storefront located across from the newly-opened 227 Wine Bar, next to Escape Salon.
