Bethel Police Have A Job Opening

BETHEL, CT — The Bethel Police Department is seeking a public safety dispatcher to work within the Bethel Police Department Communications Division. Dispatchers are required to dispatch Police, Fire and provide EMD Services.

The salary being offered is $45,468 to $54,454.

Minimum Application Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a G.E.D.
• Be a citizen of the United States of America.
• Possess a valid motor vehicle operator’s license.

Probationary Employee Qualification/State Certifications:
• State of Connecticut Telecommunicator Certification
• State of Connecticut Collect System Certification

Hiring Process will include:
• Candidates must take or have current CPCA written test score for the Police Dispatcher Exam. The passing score is 70% or higher.
