Bethel Police Make 5-Year-Old's Birthday Extra Special: Report

BETHEL, CT — For a 5-year-old boy who dreams of becoming a police officer one day, the presence of seven local officers at his birthday was a dream come true, reports the News Times. Oliver Wyatt, 5, had a police-themed birthday party last week and walked into the police station to invite members of the force.

His mom cautioned him, saying the officers may not be able to make it. However, he was shocked when seven members of the force came to join in on the fun.

The officers included Gregory Emerson, Jason Broad, Jonathan McClintock, Courtney Whaley, Edward Cordero, Jared Robinson and Amelia Fekieta.
