Bethel Police Officers Assaulted During Arrest
The suspect was violating a protective order when police tried to take him into custody.
Several Bethel police officers were injured as a result of a foot chase Wednesday.
According to the Danbury News Times, the officers were assaulted by William Estevez, 22, who allegedly violated a protective order and ran when officers tried to arrest him.
The officers sustained minor injuries, according to the News Times.
