Bethel Posts Job Opening for DPW Director

BETHEL, CT — The town is looking for a new director in the Department of Public Works.

The position organizes and directs the engineering, highway department, building maintenance and transfer station, facilities maintenance and related operations for Bethel, according to the job listing on the town website. The DPW director reports to the first selectman.

Qualifications include a degree from a four-year college or university in public administration, engineering or a related field, along with five years of progressive experience in the area, or the equivalent combination of training, education and experience. A master's degree is desirable.
