Bethel Proposed Ordinances Include Tackling Noise

The Board of Selectmen held a public information session on the issues.

Noise problems in Bethel brought residents out Tuesday to air concerns.

According to an article in the Danbury News Times, a public information session was held by the Board of Selectmen to discuss five proposed new ordinances under consideration by the town.

A noise ordinance, modeled after Danbury’s noise rules, was proposed and would restrict the hours during which loud activities, such as heavy construction, could occur, the News Times said.
