Bethel Residents Approve Police Station Funding
The approved funding does not cover the cost of the firing range.

BETHEL, CT — Residents approved the nearly $889,000 necessary to complete the police station project in a vote given Thursday night. About 50 voters attended the meeting.
The project had gone over its $13.5 million budget due, in part, to HVAC and plumbing work which was more costly than anticipated and the high quality of materials used.
The funding does not cover the cost of finishing the firing range, which was not part of the referendum voters approved in December 2015.
