Bethel School Board Names New Officers

The Bethel School Board has named a new chair and vice chair.

BETHEL — The school board elected new officers at its recent meeting, the News-Times is reporting.

Longtime vice chair Melanie O’Brien, a Republican, was elevated to the chairperson's position. Democrat Jennifer Ackerman will serve as vice chair.

The Republican vacancy left by the resignation of Larry Craybas in March will be filled by Republican Bill Foster, who previously served on the school board.
