Bethel Schools Launch College Preparedness Initiative
The Business Advisory Council gives Bethel students opportunities to obtain college and work experience while still in high school.

Bethel school leaders have launched a task force to help high school students prepare for college, according to the News Times.
The Business Advisory Council’s mission is to give students opportunities to obtain college and work experience while still in high school. The group is working in partnership with local businesses to create internship positions to enable students to pursue college-level studies for college credit.

The 20-member council includes representatives from the school district, local businesses, the Chamber of Commerce, Western Connecticut State University and Naugatuck Valley Community College.
The group will meet next on Friday at the high school.
