BETHEL, CT — A man injured in a stabbing at a Bethel deli was “lucky” to not be more seriously hurt, a judge said during a recent court appearance, according to the News-Times.
Prosecutors described the attack as unprovoked, saying the victim was sitting inside the deli when he was stabbed multiple times, including in the neck, the News-Times reported.
The suspect has pleaded not guilty and is being held on a $500,000 bond, according to the report.
