Bethel to Unveil New Nativity Display

P.T. Barnum Square will be closed on one side during the event on Saturday.

BETHEL, CT — First Selectman Matt Knickerbocker and various clerics from local Christian congregations will all participate in the dedication of a new nativity display downtown on Saturday, the News Times is reporting.

Five thousand dollars was raised in an online fundraiser for the Christmas scene, whixh will be unveiled in P.T. Barnum Square beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. P.T. Barnum Square will be closed on one side during the event.

The Rev Rachel Fay Beam from First Congregational Church, Father Corey Piccinino from St. Mary’s Church and Pastor John Parille from Bethel United Methodist Church are all sheduled to participate in the 20-30 minute ceremony.
