Bethel Welcomes Exchange Students
Bethel families are hosting exchange students from France for two weeks. They kicked off the week with a BBQ celebration at BHS on Tuesday.
First Selectman Matthew Knickerbocker and many school administrators welcomed exchange students to Bethel with a proclamation from the town Tuesday. They each received a copy as a memento of the occasion. The students mingled with host families and enjoyed choral selections by the school chorale ensemble (attached is a video of "Africa" by Toto as sung to the visiting students).
Alicia Trachtenberg and Ylber Beschi, both world language teachers, spearheaded the program.
