Bethel Woman Crowned Mrs. Connecticut

The Bethel woman will compete for the title of Mrs. International in July 2016. She is co-owner of Connecticut Martial Arts in Danbury.

Bethel woman Roxanne Doyon, a fifth-degree black belt, was recently crowned Mrs. Connecticut by Mrs. International, according to the News Times.

She will compete for the title of Mrs. International in Jacksonville, Florida on July 22 & 23, 2016, according to the Mrs. International website.

The goal of Mrs. International contest is ”to provide ladies everywhere the opportunity to compete in a pageant system that maintains the highest of moral values,” according to their website.

The pageant was founded in 1989 and promotes married women, their accomplishments, and commitment to family and marriage.
