Bethel's AP Scores Beat State Average

A record number of Bethel High School students achieved qualifying scores on this year’s Advanced Placement exams, according to the News Times.

Almost 81 percent of Bethel High School students scored a 3 or higher on the test, which is run by College Board. Colleges require the test to award credit to incoming undergraduates. The highest AP score is a 5.

Superintendent of Schools Christine Carver credited the hard work of the students and staff for preparing students for the high rates.

Bethel’s scores are higher than the state and global average, the paper reports.
