Brotherhood In Action Gears Up to Give Bethel Residents In Need Happy Holidays

Brotherhood in Action’s Thanksgiving food drive is underway and packing begins Wednesday evening for their Thanksgiving basket deliveries.

Bins are out at Caraluzzi’s Food Market on Greenwood Ave. and also at St. Mary Church, Dodgingtown Road in Bethel.

Brotherhood In Action of Bethel, Inc. is an all volunteer, federally recognized non-profit organization that began in 1980 and exists to provide food, rent and financial assistance, to those in need who live in Bethel.

Working closely with the Bethel Social Services Department, families can get help thanks to the generosity of local donors. Click here to request assistance.

  • Collection - Oct. 31 - Nov. 15
  • Sorting - Tuesday, Nov. 17, 6:30 p.m.
  • Packing - Wednesday, Nov 18, 6:30 p.m.
  • Delivery - Saturday, Nov 21, 9 a.m.

Christmas 2015 Schedule

  • Collection - Nov. 28 - Dec. 13
  • Sorting - Tuesday, Dec. 15, 6:30 p.m.
  • Packing - Wednesday, Dec. 16, 6:30 p.m.
  • Delivery - Saturday, Dec. 19, 9 a.m.
